Hi, I'm Sharoon David.
I'm a Medical Doctor, Writer, & Published Researcher
My Story
I earned my medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2015. After completing my initial clinical training, I moved to the United States to further pursue my passion for medicine and research.
I’m currently a Rural Family Medicine resident at LSU Health Shreveport, where I care for patients across a broad range of clinical settings and medical conditions. As a resident, I’m gaining experience in comprehensive, patient-centered care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and caring for patients across different stages of life. Before starting residency, I worked as a Clinical Research Manager at a retina specialty practice in Louisiana, where I oversaw clinical research operations and helped manage clinical trials. This experience gave me firsthand insight into clinical research, patient care, study coordination, and the application of medical evidence in real-world practice.
Alongside my clinical and research experience, I’ve been working as a medical writer for nearly a decade. During this time, I’ve written case reports, research manuscripts, academic articles, blog posts, exam questions, and more. You name the specialty; I’ve got it covered. I focus on creating content that is accurate, engaging, evidence-based, and tailored to my clients’ requirements. As a physician with hands-on clinical and research experience, I strive to ensure that everything I write is medically accurate, evidence-based, and up to date.
